Since graduating from The University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (First Class Honours), Josie has practiced as both an Equine and Small Animal Veterinarian over the last 15 years.
Currently, Josie is a Clinical Director at Animal Doctors Clinic in Sydney and has a special interest in Nutrition and preventative medicine. She has also obtained a Masters in Human Nutrition and received The Vice Chancellor’s Award from Deakin University.
In addition to working full time as a vet, Josie has also featured on the Nine Network’s Today Show and Channel Seven’s Sunrise and Morning Show as a guest vet to educate viewers on pet-related stories. She loves to bridge the knowledge gap between vets and pet owners.
Josie has worked with a number of pet related brands over the years. She is currently a proud ambassador for pet food brand K9 Natural and Feline Natural, a role which sees her provide support through PR and media opportunities as well as social media for the brand for the last 7 years.
Away from the camera, Josie is a sought-after keynote for many leading events in the vet and pet industry including the Dog Lovers Show and The Vet Expo. She is also a guest lecturer at The University of Sydney.
Josie has a passion for travel and is a sporting enthusiast who loves any outdoor activity – she is even a certified ski instructor. Josie’s areas of expertise, dedication and affable personality provide her with the perfect foundation for the media world.
Josie lives in Sydney with her husband, two gorgeous boys and her first fur child – Albus Dumbledog
